Just don't look too closely at the seams. Mom wanted to thank Mom-mom and Great Aunt Peggy for helping her with a pattern for my new dress. This is Mommy's first attempt at sewing:
Pardon the visible tear in the close-up. I wasn't so much feeling like trying clothes on, but Mom was so excited, I acquiesced.
Emboldened by her success, she also made me a shirt:
I am totally over this modelling business, but now I have a dinosaur shirt Mom didn't buy in the boys' section!
It would seem Mommy fancies herself a seamstress now! Well, later taters!
Great Grandma Gert is watching every stich of that sewing and smiling with each and every one. What a joy to see that this sewing stuff not only jumped a generation or two but crossed from the paternal to maternal side of the family!
Hey Cora. It's your cousin Lily or Eamon.(Ask your momma). Just wanted to let you know that I can't wait to be born and hang out with you in Jersey. We'll get all banged up on funbag milk and shit our diapers.
About Me: I'm my Mom's and Dad's kid. Apparently, they've been waiting on me for a while and didn't have the best of luck getting me here. I'm the miracle baby that hung around after my Mom had three miscarriages and then was put on bedrest at five months pregnant for fear she was losing me, too. But, now I'm here and they really dig me. I dig them, too. It's cool.
